One Game Dad 52: #startthedaywrite
Wherein I ramble incoherently once more in an attempt to talk about what I’m doing, while neither doing that nor really anything.
I’d like to think my writing is more coherent. And generally it is, especially in these blog posts where I get across what I actually wanted to say in the podcast. Which begs the question - why keep doing the podcast. At this point I don’t know… because it’s easy?
Even this post, given the slowness of getting it up is quite difficult. It lacks the ease that it once had. Part of that is because I have work now on top of personal projects. So inevitably something has to give. Which given this is the least interesting, successful or perhaps useful project it’s time to retire it.
It means I really need to think on this. More in the future.
Actually, in the time it’s taken me to post this episode I’ve made a decision. I’m going to close this podcast. It’s been good for me, but it’s not doing what I want or need it to anymore. Plus I need to spend the time I take making it doing other things. The blog and website will still remain. So will the Twitch and YouTube channels. But it’s the latter two I don’t know what if anything I’ll do with.
Maybe in the future the podcast will return. For the moment I need to concentrate on other stuff. But thank you for watching and listening. Hopefully you’ll keep reading.
This week I played something new, that isn’t actually new, it’s from 2014(?) - Payday 2. You can find this episode on Twitch, Youtube, Stitcher, iHeartRadio and iTunes. This podcast is hosted by the Third Culture Kids network.
