One Game Dad 35: Sol Budget

One Game Dad 35: Sol Budget

Sun's out, buns out. Man buns that is. But my hair still isn't long enough for one.

It's the hottest it's been in Finland for some time. Making it quite nice, though it can feel a little too hot even though it's only peaking at 24C. That's nothing compared to what it was in Iraq and you see people from warmer climes still covered up because this is nothing to them.

Those who've been here a while welcome the sun and are taking it in when they can. For me that was playing touch rugby for two hours yesterday evening. I really should take more time outside and work where I can. We have a table in the back yard but I don't have internet access there.

Other than that I've been working out the budget for my company, Third Culture Kids, and trying to determine whether or not I purchase a new computer for it. For writing my laptop is certainly enough, but for working on other projects like games and videos a more powerful computer would always help.

Destiny 2 has released a new expansion and as expected I've returned to the grind. I've found myself wanting to make a video specifically about the storytelling in Destiny and its sequel to explore what works and what doesn't. Problem is how much time that'd take and all the footage I'd need to have for it. It's also not necessarily the type of episode I want to make for The Writing Game. But if people want to see it I'll make it.

This week as mentioned I played Destiny 2. As usual you can find this episode on TwitchYoutubeStitcheriHeartRadio and iTunes. This podcast is hosted by the Third Culture Kids network.
